Getting started
Fuzzy Clock displays the approximate time using natural English words rather than exact numerical digits.
Open the app and the current fuzzy time appears immediately. To change how approximate the wording is, open the settings menu and choose one of the two fuzziness levels.
Understanding the display
Most clocks are designed to tell you the exact time. Fuzzy Clock takes a deliberately different approach.
In everyday life, precise minutes are not always necessary. We often say things such as just gone ten o'clock, nearly quarter past three or about half past six. Fuzzy Clock uses this familiar language to give you a softer, less demanding view of the day.
Fuzzy Clock is not about losing track of time. It is about freeing yourself from unnecessary precision. When an approximate time is all you need, the app offers a calmer and more relaxed way to look at the day.

The fuzziness setting controls how precisely the app describes the current time.

- Always gives a relaxed approximation using about and never states the exact current time.

A Bit
A Bit works in five-minute blocks. At each five-minute point, it uses the corresponding time phrase accurately.
Just after a five-minute point, the phrase begins with just gone. As the next five-minute point approaches, the phrase begins with nearly.

Nearly ten past one
Ten past one
This mode remains closely connected to the actual time while avoiding minute-by-minute precision.
A Bit More
A Bit More takes a more relaxed approach. It never states the current time exactly. Instead, it rounds the time to a nearby five-minute phrase and introduces it with about.
About one o'clock
About five past one
About ten past one
About half past one
This setting is for occasions when knowing roughly what time it is is enough. It deliberately softens the clock's precision and encourages a less time-driven view of the day.
